Boasting smart interiors and views over peaceful, pretty countryside, they sit just 1 mile from shops, pubs and restaurants in the little town of Cheadle. Footpath walking starts from the door, and the glorious Churnet Valley offers steam trains, canal boats and superb walking. Alton Towers is 5 miles as is cycle hire on the Manifold Trail in the Peak District National Park, and Leek and Ashbourne are under 10 miles. Wedgwood, Spode and Emma Bridgewater china bargains and tours, indoor skiing, bowling, swimming at Waterworld, Tamworth Snowdome, Chatsworth and Ironbridge are all easily accessible. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1 mile.

Four bedrooms. Spacious open plan sitting room with dining and kitchen areas. Double bedroom with 5' draped bed and TV/DVD. Shower room/WC. First floor: Double bedroom with 5' bed, TV/DVD and ensuite WC. Second staircase to first floor: Galleried single bedroom with sofa bed (for + 1). Twin bedded room with TV/DVD. Bathroom/WC (shower attachment).

It was a greaty family holiday, from country walks to Alton towers to the small town of Cheadle everyone enjoyed themselves and so did the dog. Its a great location to be in and is very quiet as well as great value for money. The owners were very friendly and the information that was provided about the area was great. We were never short of a great day out!

Excellent location for Alton Towers. The owner made us feel very welcome with biscuits and flowers in the accommodation adding that special touch. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped - everything we needed to help make our break so relaxing and enjoyable! We will have no problem in recommending this holiday to others and look forward to returning ourselves in the future.

Long famous for its potteries and its beer, Staffordshire also lays claim to not one but two of England’s most popular visitor attractions. All the more reason to take a break in one of our holiday cottages in Staffordshire.
Staffordshire’s largest city is Stoke-on-Trent, also known as The Potteries. This has been the centre of Britain’s ceramic industry for centuries, and the home of such famous names as Wedgwood and Royal Doulton. If you’re a fan of good English ale, then our Staffordshire cottage holidays are the ideal opportunity for a visit to Burton-on-Trent, where the unique quality of the water gave rise to the town’s brewing heritage.
But it’s not all industry in Staffordshire. You can enjoy some lovely countryside in the Peak District, Cannock Chase and the Staffordshire Moorlands – great for walking and wildlife enthusiasts. And then there is Alton Towers, one of the UK’s premier visitor attractions with a truly scary selection of rollercoasters, as well as Drayton Manor, which has some exciting white knuckle rides of its own. The small city of Lichfield, which still retains its old world charm is also well worth a visit.
